iOS build signing & distribution

Your iOS build, on your testers’ iPhones — signed.

Upload the app, choose the iOS versions it must run on, invite your team and give them access. AppSign handles signing, storage and delivery — you ship the build.

Why this matters

Getting a build in front of the right people is still the slow part.

Apple’s own channels each come with a ceiling. Knowing where they are is how you pick the right one for your team.

61%

of mobile devices in the US run iOS — the platform your internal apps and betas can’t skip.

90 days

is how long a TestFlight build stays testable. The first external build also waits for Beta App Review.

What you get

Everything between “build ready” and “tested on a real device”.

Secure app signing

Every build is signed correctly and securely, in line with Apple’s requirements.

Multiple iOS versions

Choose which iOS versions the build is signed for and check compatibility across them.

Working in teams

Register testers and give them access. More people testing means more issues found before release.

Secure app storage

Builds live on our cloud servers — protected, and available whenever your team needs them.

Less manual work around releases

No hand-built provisioning for every new tester and no passing IPA files around in chat. Your team spends the time on the app, not on getting it installed.

What customers say

What teams tell us after switching.

Registering testers used to be the hard part. Now it’s one quick step to add a device — and after that our testers get something that feels like their own App Store. Installing every update is simple, even pleasant.
On onboarding testers
Builds keep working for up to a year. Nothing expires out of the blue in the middle of a test cycle. It’s a completely different experience.
On build lifetime
Versions of the same app, dozens of builds, builds configured for different clients — managing all of it here is just brilliant.
On versions and client builds
No review to pass before testers get a build, long before the real App Store release. That flexibility let us build our own catalogue of apps for testers.

FAQ

Questions we hear most.

Is it legal?

Yes. AppSign works under your own Apple Developer Program agreement and uses nothing beyond it. Distribution follows Apple’s Ad Hoc rules, which allow up to 100 registered devices per device family (iPhone, iPad and so on) per membership year.

Can I upload applications of other developers?

Only if you have agreements with them. To use third parties’ intellectual property, you must have the rights to it. Without such agreements, we will deactivate or disable access to your account to protect the rights holders.

Can I sign my own iOS apps without buying a separate plan for a testing team?

Yes. Signing and testing your own apps yourself is part of the standard package.

I don’t have enough testers. Can you help?

AppSign is built for your own testing team. If you need additional testers, this is discussed separately and arranged under a separate agreement — write to support@appsign.me and tell us about your project.

I don’t have an app, but I’d like to take part in testing. Is that possible?

Yes — write to support@appsign.me. Developers are always looking for testers, and we’ll be glad to consider your request.

How is AppSign different from TestFlight?

TestFlight is Apple’s beta channel: builds expire after 90 days and external testing starts with Beta App Review. AppSign manages signing, storage and tester access around your own developer account. We compare both in detail in AppSign vs TestFlight.
